Our past
In 2021, the Feel It Nursing Academy was founded by Mrs. Janaki Welapalagama as a dedicated caregiving training institution. During its inception, the academy operated from a single branch in Gampaha with just 3 lecturers.
The initial stages were marked by a modest beginning, but the demand for our caregiving training prompted us to expand.
Our present
Fast forward to today, our academy has grown to include three branches in Gampaha, Maharagama, and Kegalle. Our team has expanded, with over 20 dedicated staff members, including more than 10 lecturers working collectively across all three locations. Presently, our academies boast enhanced facilities and well-equipped labs, ensuring we provide high-quality caregiving training.
Feel It Nursing Academy is currently a leading training institution for caregivers in Sri Lanka, making a substantial impact by producing over 2000 qualified care professionals each year.

Our founder:
Mrs. Janaki Welapalagama
Mrs. Janaki Welapalagama has devoted over 30 years of her life to providing nursing services, beginning her journey in 1990. Her initial placement was as a staff nurse in 1995, and since then, she has been dedicated to caring for patients, consistently going above and beyond her regular duties.
As she advanced in her career, she held various roles, including assistant sister, sister, sister-in-charge, and ultimately, chief nursing officer. Throughout her career, she has served over 30,000 patients in two countries: Sri Lanka and Singapore.
Leveraging her wealth of education and experience, she established the Feel It Nursing Academy in 2021 with the mission of assisting more Sri Lankans in launching successful careers in healthcare.
